This is Florida’s wildfire season.

Freezes and dry conditions can increase wildfire danger.

Many wildfires are started by people who burn yard waste improperly.

But a small fire can become a wildfire in an instant.

The fire often escapes, destroys homes, businesses, and our beautiful forests.

Remember, it’s wildfire season in Florida.

So, think before you burn.

Contact your local Division of Forestry office to learn how and when to burn safely.
