Florida Meat Recipe
Ostrich Skewers |

| 1 tablespoon |
vegetable oil |
| 2/3 cup |
sugar |
| 1/3 cup |
soy sauce |
| 1 |
small onion |
| 1 pound |
ostrich or emu, fajita strips or slices from round |

| Preparation |
|
Combine first 4 ingredients in blender or food processor and
puree. Pour
marinade ingredients over meat and marinate 2 hours or overnight.
Remove meat and reserve marinade; thread strips of meat on skewers.
Grill over medium
heat or broil, basting occasionally with reserved marinade.
Yield
8-12 servings as an appetizer |
