Liz Gablehouse has served the Florida Department of Agriculture and
Consumer Services for over 16 years. A native of Tallahassee, Florida,
she attended Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland, then completed
her undergraduate studies abroad at the University of Bonn in Germany
and Albert Schweitzer College near Lausanne, Switzerland.
She began her marketing career abroad working in various European countries
and North Africa. She remained in the European corporate sector for
11 years in marketing and sales. Upon returning to the United States,
she worked in the movie and recording industries in Los Angeles, and
later in marketing in the securities industry.
Liz currently works with Florida export companies, assisting in necessary documentation as well as inbound and outbound trade missions. She is fluent in Spanish, French and German, and conducts business in those languages as necessary.
