Breed registry tattoos may be used if accompanied by the breed registration certificate. To obtain official USDA ear tags, the owner must first obtain a flock/herd identification number. To obtain a flock/herd ID number, contact the USDA Veterinary Services Area Office at (352) 333-3120.
